Yes, Knoppix (or any other Linux system) can be installed on your existing partitions, it will just format the partition it uses & install on that partition.
I have 80 Gig hd with following configuration:
Windows 98se on FAT 32, 21 gig partition, which seems to be hda1.
Suse 9.2 Pro /home, root, & swap on resierfs partitions.
Can Suse 9.2 Pro be removed/replaced with Knoppix or other OS w/o removing resierfs partitions?? I understand Knoppix needs to be resierfs, not FAT 32.
If answer is no, what partition program would be good to delete the linux partitions? I am skittish when it comes to partitioning as I do not want to lose Windows 98se.
