Wireless configuration for Knoppix and Dell True Mobil 1300

I have been unable to recognize a wireless connection. Have used KWIFI Manager "Wireless Lan Manager" with no network recognition. I have also searched many messages and other suggestions for making this work. Knoppix doesn't see the device ath0.

Will appreciate help to make wireless work on Knoppix. I have everything else working.......................

Many of us do not have wireless networks or wireless HW. I know alot but wireless is mostly outside of my knowledge range. You are asking for assistance with wireless & as compared to wired networks, it has a smaller userbase population and you may not get much help.

Since Knoppix is linux, I searched google & found some hits on getting it to work on linux.
