Project Looking Glass as Klik package?

I recently read this story on slashdot: http://linux.slashdot.org/article.pl...id=185&tid=106 where a liveCD was presented previewing Sun's Project looking glass ( http://www.sun.com/software/looking_glass/ ). I tried it and it rocked, but it was still a livecd and that gives some hassle to start it up. Maybe it would be possible (for someone who knows how) to create a klik package based on this livecd, so that we can PLG in a window right on our desktops, like it's already possible with Enlightenment. Apart from that it would just be awesome, I bet it would give klik a lot of exposure, too

Yes, I have tried that Live CD.

Unfortunately, it requires binary ATI/Nvidia drivers, but those have to be compiled specifically for every Linux kernel due to the lack of a Linux Kernel ABI (binary interface).

So you still need to go with that Live CD.

    Greetings,

Really? I chose the third option (standard linux driver or something) since my laptop didn't have any ATI or Nvidia graphics card, and it still went pretty smoothly. Isn't that a cross-compatible option at the cost of a little performance?
