CF card reader - renew of content

    Hi!
My Knoppix recognizes my card reader (with a CF2 card in it) and shows an icon for it. All fine so far.
Problem: After changing the CF2 card, the content of the OLD card remains. I can even open the files (which are stored on the old card).
I can only imagine that the content of the card is stored somewhere and the system shows me this internal copy, when I want to access the card.
How can I convince Knoppix to read the card again without repooting?

    Thanks
    Wolfgang

you hvae to unmount the card BEFORE removing it.
then you mount the new card to be able to see the files in it...
a sync (just type sync in a conole and hit enter) before unmounting ant then removing it might help, should not be nessesary though.
oh, one more thing, close anything you have weived files on the card with. or atleast go to the /home/knoppix directory, otherwise umount will just say thet disk is bussy.
