i keep getting this Error: No Suitable X-Server found for your card. what can i do to fix this.

You probably need to use a cheatcode; http://download.linuxtag.org/knoppix...cheatcodes.txt
Take a look at the list from the above link and use the code most applicable to your video card.

actually i just burned it to a different disk. If the disk is scratched or dirty it will not boot.
