close port ipp/631 and no startup sound effects please

By default Knoppix has port ipp/631 open to the internet and also plays various sound effects... this seems 'out of character' to me, and I think Knoppix would be better if it didn't do these things.

IPP/631 TCP port is used by the service CUPS printing system
To stop the service:

sudo /etc/init.d/cups stop
update-rc.d cups stop 20 2 3 4 5 .  # note the point is necessary. don't remove
