Audacity

Hi all, been using 6.7.1 for some time and decided to go to the cd distro. I installed Audacity from the extras but it won't run. So I un-installed and re-installed using Synaptic, but still no luck. Any ideas? Thanks...........

There was a thread Audacity not running in 6.7.1, also Kompozer some time ago. Trying to run audacity from the terminal could be helpful because you should see some error message.
