Lilo loader failed to install...now how to load from GRUB>

Hi
I went through the process of copying this Knoppix Live cd to the hd with knx-hdinstall and when it got to the point of installing LILO, I received two errors in regards to the BIOS or something and it appears that LILO was not installed to the MBR...instead when I reboot, I get a grub> prompt. Is there any way I can boot from this point. Thanks.

An easier way to do it (perhaps). The likely cause of the problem is that your bios has some kind of simple anti-virus installed which prevents writing to the mbr (once upon a time, boot sector viruses were common). See if you can find this and disable it, then run (su to root)

/sbin/lilo

and all should be OK.
