Boot options

At boot I used the following options:
knoppix myconfig=/mnt/sda1 home=/dev/sda1
but I can't restore my desktop image or newsgroups account.

If I use "knoppix myconfig=/mnt/sda1" works fine.
Restore all configurations.
Why???

Knoppix 3.3 live CD & usb pen(home... I try)
