I think I need CONFIG_SERIAL_CONSOLE to boot a knoppix cd on a system with a dec vt220 terminal plugged into ttyS0 (or can I just do boot: knoppix 2 console=ttyS0?), so I thought I needed CONFIG_SERIAL_CONSOLE in the kernel compile. I think it should be part of knoppix unless booting over the serial port already works (haven't tried --- I've been unable to take down the server I want to do it on to test)
thanks for an awesome linux cd!
