Here's a thought: Say you found a driver for a device that was self-extracting in Windows format (.exe), I've come across a few of these just by browsing my hard drive. Now what if you took that .exe file, and ran it in Linux under an emulator? Would the driver work? What would one have to change to make a Windows driver a Linux driver?
