Unable to boot to WindowsXP after running Knoppix Live CD!

When rebooting without CD all I get is a Grub console screen.
How can I recover my XP boot?
Attempting to find a way to uninstall Knoppix and start over, but with no luck.

There are alot of tools thaat can fix the mbr. Boot up knoppix and try searching for mbr repair.

your not being clear, we need more info about what you did,

it sounds like you tried to install knoppix to your harddrive?
eitherway, read this about fixing the mbr to reboot windows.

knoppix would not have done this without your intervention, it doesnt even mount the drives without your say so.

lastly, knoppix installs lilo and not grub, if you have grub in your mbr, it came from elsewhere, either fedora or suse possibly.

You can boot off the XP cd and go into recovery mode. From there you can enter your administrator password and you have a host of tools for repairing your MBR i.e. "FIXMBR".

It sounds like you tried to install knoppix to the hd and installed a boot loader on your MBR this will however completely thrash grub or lilo and you will no longer have access to booting knoppix off your hd other than with a rescue disk.
