Hi,
I am trying to use bootcdwrite to make a live cd of my installed debian. However, the raw size of 1.7 GB will be compressed to 1.3GB by using bootcdwrite. In Knoppix, about 2GB size been compressed to 700MB. Does anyone know how to compress the installed debian to a live cd with high compression ratio? I ask this question here since I think knoppix has some silver bullet to do it.
I have to claim that I love knoppix and initially I want to remaster knoppix for my usage. However, I could not make knoppix to support chinese. So I decided to install the debian 4.0, suppuringly, debain 4.0 works great.
Thanks
Frank
