Does anyone understand how version numbers get allocated?
According to the changelog, this one holds no major new release
of either kde/kernel/OpenOffice... Still it's the first one officially
labeled 3.3. That's confusing, says the nitpicker
A new one boys and girls.
Still downloading it myself.

guess its just that klaus wants a new version out
or considers this one stable enough...
the fact that it doesn't contain really new software should only make it a better new version-candidate - this software has been tested.
Is this release "OFFICIAL" or no ??

Hi!
I have knoppix 3.2 in spanish.
Should I download this or wait for bigger changes?
What kernel does it have?
Greetings for Knoppix. Linux is not the same since we have knoppix!!
First ever that Nero will not burn.
Is the size of it changed?
(is there a program for win32 that I could check the md5 with?)
Please see the official FAQ on the mirros. The answer is in there.Originally Posted by den dydige
