can't connect to the net

networking/internet works flawless if I boot from the knoppix cd. But if I try to remaster it, for a chrooted environment I cant get internet so also apt-get update not to work.

ifconfig shows exactly the same info in the chrooted and normal environment.

anyone has a solution?

try command

/etc/init.d/networking restart

ps: verify the inet addresses

installing dhcpcd worked for me.
