HElP installing software

i tried installing Ayam which is a 3d modelliing software ayam.sourcefore.net
anyways i downloaded the tar.gz file and tried tro install it using kpackage and it says that the command installpackage wasn't found, anyways is there any other way to install it , please help

We need more info. I assume this is a HD install of Knoppix. What version?
Or are you running from CD?
