RARE 1984 Apple Macintosh 128K Original Early style motherboard with Apple branded RAM (date coded 8428 indication week 28 of 1984) and original CPU dated 8422 (week 22 of 1984). NON-WORKING and NO ROM chips on the board! The ROM sockets are empty as shown. Rare early 1984 original Macintosh motherboard/logic board. Ready for repair or just to collect and display as a significant part of early Apple and computing history!
Previous testing showed this board booted to a SAD MAC indicating RAM issues which is common with these boards. Needs RAM replacement and working original Mac ROM set to be a working board. This is the early first style Macintosh motherboard with 1983 date stamp and no 512K marking on the board, later in 1984 Mac motherboards could be configured for 128K or 512K. This board is the 128K only version from early 1984 before the Macintosh 512K Model launched in fall 1984.
