Here arethree (3) 16mm IBM films: -


(1) IBM’sSystem/7 computer promotional film, circa 1973. System/7 was designed forindustrial control, security tracking and reporting, it was announced onOctober 28,1970 and first shipped in 1971. It was a 16-bit machine and one ofthe first made by IBM to use semiconductor memory (monolithic circuits),instead of magnetic core memory typical of time period. Title is \"Wherethe Action is.” Color, some fade, 9.25inch reel, original plastic case, no splices.


(2) IBM CEO JohnF. Akers talks about “IBM’s Advanced Function for Communications.” 3.5 inch reel, good sound. Original plastic reel and case.


(3) IBM DataProcessing Field Meeting, January 1974, color, some fade, marked “IBMCONFIDENTIAL.” Speakers include F.T.Cary, R.A. Pfeiffer, Jr. Regionalmanagers talk about their areas, photos, maps and organizational charts. Original plastic 9.25 inch reel and case. Nosplices seen.
