Up for sale is a custom-built Intel Celeron N5105 based NAS system. TrueNAS, Open Media Vault, Windows, and Linux ready.
- Intel Celeron N5105 SoC CPU with Integrated Cooler- 4x 3.5" / 2.5" drive bays (with space for an extra internal 2.5")- 4x Intel 2.5Gb RJ45 NICs- 16GB of Micron 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM
- 2x Kioxia 256GB NVMe SSDs (great for caching or boot disks)- Noctua 80mm exhaust fan- 400W T.F.SkyWindIntl Flex-ATX PSU
The system is fully assembled and currently configured to use 5x SATA drives (4x in the bays, 1x internally for booting). I used it with TrueNAS Scale for a little over a year without issue. It runs quietly, includes handy drive activity lights, is easy to maintain, and was a lot of fun to build in.
The motherboard is a standard Mini ITX layout, so part compatibility is not a worry. The chassis should support SAS drives (if you add an appropriate HBA). Lots of screws and other parts are included. Double-boxed and shipped with styrofoam padding.
