This printer is in good condition. It is not fully functional.
The unit was disassembled. The case, and chassis were washed and cleaned. The PCB dusted, and the socket chips reseated. The thermal head cleaned. 2 New feet attached.The paper advance motor-to rod connector was broken. All 822's I've seen have this issue. It was fixed with some tight fitting tubing. It works well now. The old connector is included for reference. The unit looks really good for its age. There is a little rust on the back edge of the case, and a stretched area on the bottom. One corner look nicked. The paper advance knob sticker is lifting around the edges.
Sadly it does dose print. At power up, the print head move to the left and then continually head bangs there. I swapped out the printer unit with another 822 I have and it is working. It prints readable characters. The problem is on the PCB somewhere, I think. It comes with a partially used roll of thermal paper, but no power supply. I'll toss in a SIO cable for free.
