This a fully working and tested Atari 1040STf. It passes all Atari Diagnostic Cartridge internal testing. All key and mouse are working.
All plastics for case, mouse and keyboard have been washed and cleaned. The motherboard dusted, and socketed IC reseated. The PSU is outputting proper voltages.
The floppy drive was upgraded in the past to en Epson SMD-380. SO this system can be modified to make and use 1.44mb disks. The side of the side of the case was modified to accommodate this drive.The drive was opened and dusted out. The heads cleaned. The front bezel and button ware Retro-Brited and looks near new. The head travel rails light lubricated.
The computer itself is working GREAT !!The case looks to have been painted to close to Atari gray, but it a little on the blue side. It is cracked on the left side just to the left of the F! key. Many case break here. The top has many screw standoff broken and can't take any screws. The floppy drive can not have the right most screw fully tightened or the disk will no eject. But the other two screw are tight and holding it tightly in place. There is not PSU RF shield but that does not make much difference these days.The mouse is clean and working really good.The feet are brown felt pads.
