This is a vintage Atari 1050 Disk Drive with Power Supply that is compatible with Atari 400/800/XL/XE computers. The unit has been fully cleaned, extensively tested, and is in good working condition. Manufactured by Atari in Singapore.
Cleaning and maintenance performed includes: - disassembly and interior cleaning - track rails cleaned and relubricated - pulleys and drive belt cleaned and checked - read/write head cleaned - main ic chips cleaned and reseated - led lights in working order
Testing includes: - full 1050 diagnostic disk test set - all passed - read, write and erase testing - all passed (using MyDOS 4.3 - copy included) - track zero sensor test and setting - passed - both SIO Input/Output ports checked - passed - disk speed check - passed - check drive number select switch - passed
Tests conducted with a standard Atari 800-XL home computer
