This 1200XL computer is tested and all systems are working correctly. The memory has been upgraded to 256K with the Newell KXL memory upgrade. This upgrade uses ANTIC banking exactly the same way as the 130XE. The Operating System has been upgraded by adding Omniview 80 to the operating system and by using the latest version of the XL/XE Operating system. The OS has also been upgraded by switching from the 1200XL OS to the 800XL system and adding built in BASIC. The BASIC is version C. The video has been improved by the 2002 Clearpic modification. This improves the clarity of the display and adds the chroma circuit so that the user can utilize S-Video. The Omniview 80 provides an 80 column display that can be used when programming in BASIC and it is also used by several word processing programs. The cover is in good cosmetic condition with very little yellowing. There are some scratches on the metal parts. The metal functions keys are in very good condition. I will include a power supply and a video cable. I will ship the power supply separately because it is heavy and could damage the computer during shipping. The memory modification on this computer has a history of coming dislodged from it's socket during shipping so you shouldn't buy this computer unless you are willing to take it apart and reseat the memory board. The pictures show the clarity of the display and they also verify that the computer is working.
