This is an adapter interface to go from the ECI & cartridge port on the back of the Atari 65xe and 130xe 8-bit computers and changes it to the 600/800xl PBI standard to allow more readily available parallel buss peripherals to be used with the xe series of 8-bit computers. It also allows use of the cartridge port and reorientates the cartridge port to the vertical position, which is much more convenient than the standard horizontal position. The adapter was designed by Dropcheck on the Atariage forums and is an open source project. I had a minimum number of boards required to place an order with the board manufacturer, so I'm offering the remaining boards already built for sale here and am including the 3D printed case you see pictured as well. Also included will be some basic instructions for a couple of possible required internal modifications needed to the Atari's main board to have all the signals pass out to the PBI port. This is basically a replica of the old ICD MIO adapter board for the xe series minus one cartridge port.
