Atari 800 Sophia 2 HDMI Adapter 65xe/130xe/XEGS/800XL:
$20.95

11/6 update: I have more boards ordered but due to shipping times, it may be a couple weeks before I stock these again, I have 1 left for sale. Thanks
This isAdam Eberbach'sAtari Sophia 2 video HDMI/stereo board. (Side panel not included - read below).
To use this, you must already own a Sophia 2 by Simius.
The basic idea, is the Sophia 2 has DVI out, and with this adapter board you can replace the DVI out with HDMI out.
This is a simple electrical connection/change of format. This does not combine the audio signal into the HDMI stream, so you will still use the 3.5mm jack for audio out, but it does work - you can have HDMI out from your Atari.
The reason I make these products available for sale, is it is my contribution to the Atari community. Instead of you having to make 3 separate purchase to get the bill of materials from Mouser, Digikey and from pcbway - instead I have bought 10 of these, and put them together, and in that way, you can buy one.
It would go without saying you would still have to have a project where you were putting together a Sophia 2 Atari computer, you will still need to obtain the Sophia 2, you will still need to plan how you want to mount the device in your computer.
Speaking of which, the original project anticipated installing it in an Atari 800, and that' is also why you have the drive switch to use it in conjunction with an Incognito. Adam also developed a side panel for the Atari 800 - making the Atari 800 the most sophisticated and fully developed install. You can see a screenshot of Adam's side panel in the 3rd picture.
However, I use mine in a 130XE.
OK, so - that's my little introduction, but to read more about it search on google for "Atari Sophia 2 video HDMI/stereo board"you will find results on PCBWay, a video on youtube, and you can also find the project on github.
I will be doing a bundle with the unpainted side panel in two weeks. Meanwhile you may wish to print those yourself you can get the STL onprintables (e-bay doesn't allow me to include the link afaik).
Whew, that was a long description...thanks for looking!
