You are offerding on a WORKING Atari SF314 DSDD external disk drive for the Atari ST line of computers. It\'s Double Sided and Double Density but can format in Single Density as well. This drive comes with power supply and the disk drive cable to connect it to your ST. There were multiple SF 314drive types - note the shape of the disk eject button. This model was manufactured in Taiwan. Please note the color quality - no yellowing or fading.


The drive works great without any issues . I personally was able to test it with my Atari 520 ST successfully (see photos) via:


-Formatting a new disk - both single (360K)and double density (720K)

-Using the drive as the \"A\" or the \"B\" drive

-Copying files

-Loading a game

-Loading an application

-Playing with the files on a disk


I took pictures of my ST using both a monitor (SC1224) as well as a TV over the course of a few days, just in case you were wondering.


While I have personally tested this machine - again see the pictures, due to the age it\'s offered AS-ISbut check out my response over the years for confidence. I will ensure the machine and accessories are extremely well packed and will arrive in the same condition as when I packed it.
