Atari ST to VGA adapter with switch for High Resolution (Black and White) mode or Medium Resolution (Color) mode.
It allows you to connect your monitor with your Atari ST (13 pin DIN connector) using a normal VGA cable (Sub-D 15-pin aka HD15 cable typically with blue end connectors).
Your monitor needs to support 15kHz sync rate (which is very uncommon) in order to show the Atari ST signal in color or use some sort of OSSC converter. This adapter will not work in color mode for the most common LCD and CRT monitors.Conversely, in high resolution mode \"most\" monitors with VGA connector are able to show the signal coming from the Atari ST.
The adapter also provides a standard and common TRS Jack 3.5mm to connect to Speakers or Headphones. The Audio signal from the Atari ST DIN 13-pin is mono, but it is reproduced in both Left and Right audio channels.
