Commodore Amiga 2000 v6.2 mobo +gotek +USB ADFs +power cord
Another solid and reliable A2000 to go back to the community. How do I know this is reliable? For starters, I've played way too much Frogger and Qix on it. Also, over the last couple weeks other Amiga peeps have ordered like a dozen of my new FDD cables. This box along with a spare FDD was used to test the cables. So it was booted like 50 times with nary a hitch.I added a new FDD cable. I'm sure the one it came with was original since it was all crunchy and stiff. Every FDD should be replaced after 30+ yrs. Mine are a little longer than original to make your life a little better. Oh snap, I happen to sell them, check my other listings.Just to make it pretty I added in some new video/cpu slot covers. These are my new design that has a nut frictioned in so the screws have something to bite besides plastic. Double snap, I happen to sell them too.Every A2000 is a snow flake. What's special and unique about this one? Look at the right side of the 5.25" bay. There's a little indent there. It was obviously made at the factory level. I can't believe someone with a Dremel could be that accurate or cord

If you see something in the background but not listed then it is not included. Some things I've done
- pulled apart and cleaned the case, mobo, and inside of the power supply
- someone was futzing around in the power supply, I cleaned up the bare AC wires by adding some shrink tubing, it was/is working fine, now there's just a lot less chance of arcing
- see the key switch in the front? that is NOT connected, in its history someone used that to close the AC power circuit to turn on the A2000; technically the idea is fine, it's just not the best idea to have you touching the metal switch that completes the AC circuit

Jump back to the days of 16 bit graphics and games. The Amiga was the next generation to the Commodore C64, C128, Plus/4 8 bit 6502 CPU based processors. It competed with the Atari ST 520ST 1040ST line of PCs. Both used the 68000 CPU for their OS.Time for a Mac attack! Does the Mac measure up to an Amiga or ST? Personally, even though I'm into vintage retro classic computing, I was never really into the TI 4/99 PS1 PS2 Nintendo platforms. While I have owned the A500, A600, A1200, and A2000, the A3000 is my favorite. Gee, an awful lot of tags and keywords here. It's almost like I'm trying to troll the AI-bot overlords and their search algorithms. Humans unite!
