Up for offer is a super clean DEC pdp8/m From the Museum of Antiquated Technology in Hanson Ma. The PDP-8 has been on display here for 25 years and has been untouched since being rescued from DEC by a DEC engineer friend of mine many years ago. There are many tapes and the operating manual is included. The machine cycles through the contents of the registers perfectly. Everything works. The machine was run many times before it’s placement in the museum 25 years ago. I am selling this machine as a functioning unit. I do not have the terminal any more to run it. The board numbers are visible in the case pictures so you guys can see what’s in the case. The terminal interface board and cable are still in place to run the machine. I am unable to offer a warranty to you as the machine is so old and I cannot control the new operator’s actions. Can I call this a plug and play situation?? Please examine the photos as you are probably better schooled on the PDP8 than I. I suspect that this sale is a pretty unique sale so offer accordingly. Shipping is no problem.
