For your consideration is a working, all original, FULLY recapped Macintosh Classic. Configured with 4MB ofmemory, 40MB internal SCSI hard drive loaded with System 6.0.8 and After Dark Screen Saver.

The analog and logic boards have been recapped and the computer works great!
When considering a restored/recapped vintage Mac it is important to know exactly what parts were recapped. These compact Mac's arenotorious for leaking caps on both the analog and logic boards.This Mac Classic has had both boards recapped.The logic board has had all surface mount electrolytic capacitors replaced with high quality solid Tantalum capacitors, and ultrasonically cleaned.The sound is loud and clear.The analog board had 23 of the 25 electrolytic capacitors replaced with high quality, high temp capacitors, and the voltage was successfully adjusted per specs. The two that remain are CP13 and CP1, these are the giant 250V caps that don't normally need replacing.You won't have to worry about leaking caps on this one for quite some time.The CRT is bright, sharp, stable and free of any burn in. The internal clock battery has been removed. The internal floppy disk drive has been cleaned, lubed and tested to work great. It reads, writes, and ejects without issue. All four rubber feet are present and in good shape.Although theoriginal hard drive is working, please be aware it is over 30 yearsold and could go at any time.The Macintosh Classic cabinet has yellowing, nicks, scrapes, and scratches. There is a chip on the bottomof the bezeland a light spot on the top leftcorner where a sticker resided. The programmers reset/interrupt buttons have some damage from getting bumped, they do still function properly. Please see all pictures for cosmeticcondition.These cosmetic flaws have no effect on the operation of the Mac. You'll find the beauty on the inside of this Classic.
