This Gen 7 HP MicroServer has some nice add-ons that will make this more functional to be a great NAS box. I have added an ICYDOCK unit that will allow you to use 2 more 2.5" SATA HDD or 2.5" SATA SSD Drives (and the DVD Drive that this NetServer came with) Otherwise it's also fully functional and comes with no drives. All drive screws included stored in the door. Up to 4 drives can be controlled by the internal HP raid controlller. (HP P410 NO drives included) On this unit, the door does lock and the key is included but a minor cosmetic flaw, the front door is a bit wonky and tends to be hard to open and close cleanly. This seems to be common on the HP NetServers and was the same on a GEN 10 that I just sold, so no returns based on "door doesn't work quite right". Everything else fully functional - (see the setup screens) and will offer a 30 days warranty that this functions perfectly. This is a great value on the older Gen 7 HP NetServer. This comes with 16GB of ECC memory which is the most that this CPU can address. You won't need to go searching for a RAM upgrade on this server. This also has an additional 2-port 1GB NIC installed in one of the two PCI Express lanes offering another 2 NIC ports for a total of 3 NICS.
