I will not ship out of the US. Power cables not included. Up for sale is a used but 100% working HP ProLiant ML30 Gen9. Has an Intel Xeon E3-1240 v6 CPU. I have found the keys! Bezel security lock keys included! To replace the whole bezel and lock would have cost $100. System specs based on searching the serial number are here: a TPM 1.2 module installed (part 450168-001 / 505836-001). HP's TPM 2.0 firmware upgrade didn't update it. Should accept a TPM 2.0 module (HP Part: 745823-B21, HP Spare Part: 812119-001) which can be had for as low as $22 here on . I cannot say for sure if you remove the TPM 1.2 and plug in a 2.0 module if it will accept it so do some research. I am also not 100% sure if you can use other vendor models of TPM 2.0 modules in this socket so please do your own research. I have researched on HP site and does say that once you plug a TPM 2.0 module in, it must stay in and you must not remove it. Once you install a TPM 2.0 module, this server should be able to run Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 as I believe that is a requirement. BIOS and all available firmware have been updated (see images). iLo doesn't seem to be active, enabled, or present. Has 16GB RAM, two healthy 1TB HP SATA hard drives, and a DVD drive. No RAID / SAS cards present. Seems to be just plain SATA. I dust blasted inside and it's in fairly clean shape. Nothing wrong with this unit and plenty of life. Would make good Linux server. CMOS battery still works but I would replace it to be safe. CPU can still be upgraded to a E3-1280 v6 but do your own research on HP's web site. No Windows COA so I have freshly installed KUbuntu 24.04.1. I did two DoD 7-pass wipes on the storage media. I think RAM can max out at 64GB. Trying to keep it out of the landfill. Needs a good home. Shipping type for items bearing "Free Shipping" is selected by the seller.
