    How we test our drives: Each drive our facility receives is tested using Hard Disk Sentinel Software to verify the drive health and functionality. Then, the drives all undergo a full hardware-level erasure process. This process writes a zero to every sector of the hard drive and then reads back the sector to verify that it was successfully overwritten. This process takes several hours per batch of drives, and fully ensures that you're receiving a drive in excellent working condition with full read/write capability on each sector. Drives that fail testing, have excess bad sectors beyond the replacement pool, or have loud/noisy bearings, are not included in this listing. Such drives are recycled separately.
