This is a MITS Altair 1K STATIC MEM BOARD (REV 0) that bears eight early and extremely rare Intel C8101 static RAM chips with white ceramic carrier and gold lid with gray traces. The board overall is in excellent physical and cosmetic condition but has not been tested and is sold as is.
This variant of the 1K STAT MEM BD seems to be the earliest from MITS, and very few containing these early and rare Intel C8101 static RAM are known to exist.
It is unclear if the "N7491" designation on the C8101 RAM chips indicates the date code, however this chip was available as of 3rd quarter of 1974. The Collector's Guide to Vintage Intel Microchip describes this variant as "extremely rare". Please see page 1027 of the PDF at the following link:
