A complete drop-in Color LCD retrofit kit for the Apple Macintosh SE/30!The kit includes all you need to replace your aging CRT and analog board with a brand new 640x480 8.4" LCD panel, including a brand-new 30Video HC PDS card to drive it digitally in full color! The 30Video HC card features Thousands of colors (16 bit) support and can drive the internal LCD or an external monitor.
- Bolt-in complete LCD assembly and replacement analog board.
- Fully digital 640x480 LCD for maximum crispness.
- B&W, 4, 16, 256, and Thousands of Colors. Maximum Grayscale is limited to 16 grays.
- Resolutions: 640x480 (Mirrored LCD+VGA), External VGA Only: 800x600, 1024x768
- Plug and play, no drivers, tested with Mac OS 6.0.8 - 8.1 and A/UX 3

- SE/30 onboard video will be disabled if LCD is connected: no "ghost" monitors.
- LCD Brightness is adjusted on the back of the LCD panel. There are holes to fit an external brightness control potentiometer, but there is not one fitted due to lack of a suitable currently produced potentiometer.
Kit contents: LCD assembly, 30Video HC card, analog board replacement, mounting hardware and cables.Installation can be mostly be accomplished with basic hand-tools; the fan wires on the old AB must be either desoldered or cut to transfer the fan to provided new "analog" board. It is necessary to handle high voltage components of your Macintosh while installing. Please take appropriate precautions while working inside your machine!This is a Kit, the pictured computer is not included.
