A Motorola 68040-40 CPU that can be used to upgrade an Amiga 4000 and other vintage computers. This is an authentic, used CPU pulled from a system socket. All the pins are in very good shape (see photos). I was informed this CPU tested good, but I do NOT have a way to test it myself. Buy with confidence; I am offering a 30-day warranty with a free return if it doesn\'t work.The 68040-40 is pin compatible with the 68040-25 found in many Amiga 4000s and can be used to easily upgrade your system. If you intend to upgrade your Amiga 4000, please verify your present CPU to ensure it is a 68040-25. Commodore also offered some Amiga 4000 with a 68030 CPU.The CPU has a warranty sticker attached to ensure you receive the CPU seen here (see photos). The sticker must be intact for any return. The CPU will be shipped in an anti-static box inside a padded envelope.
