Hi There,
This was a specialty order direct from Promise for a 2019 Mac Pro build that was not used. Thus this Pegasus R4i MPX Raid module has never been used and the wrapping is still on the individual drive bays. The mounting hardware is included to install new SATA solid state or spinner drives of your choosing.
Traditionally this holds 32TB's of storage with 4x8TB drives, however you are welcome to install your drives of choice given they are empty and ready for new harddrives. This MPX module is much cheaper than ordering drives directly from Promise or purchasing a used MPX module with used RAID drives.
I am also selling the Mac Pro this was intended for, as I am moving on to an AMD workstation. This MPX module retails for over $2500 and is no longer for sale. It is THE FASTEST and most efficient solution to adding 4 additional drives to your Mac Pro, and this product is NO LONGER available anywhere for sale!
