I'm selling my great video editing Thunderbolt 3/USB-C NVMe SSD RAID enclosure and SoftRAID XT software license from OWC. This enclosure comes with NO MEMORY and is ready for you to load up to 8 NVMe SSDs and build the ultimate video, photo or audio editing/storage/backup RAID.


With all 8 drive slots filled, the unit can reach up to 2400MB/s data bandwith with Thunderbolt 3/USB-C. I've only used this with a Mac, so I can't speak to compatibility with PCs, but the specs say it's compatible with any thunderbolt equipped PC running Windows 10 or later.


The enclosure and the shuttles are in great condition and ready to be put to work!


While I had this in use, I had it loaded with 4x4TB Crucial P3 NVMes and I was seeing around 1100MB/s data transfer rate when set up as a Striped RAID 0 using the included OWC SoftRAID XT software. The unit comes with two OWC U.2 3.5" NVMe shuttles that each will hold 4 NVMes. Youtube reviewers show that when you load up all 8 NVMe slots, you will then see speeds up to 2400MB/s.


I will deactivate my SoftRAID XT license when the unit sells and the serial number to activate the license is located on the bottom of the enclosure. The included SoftRAID XT license does work with the current OWC SoftRAID v8.5 and the license acts as a "Premium License Subscription" that is active through Dec 16, 2026.
