Original DEC System Building Block 4603—Pulse Amplifier—1960s PDP-1 vintage:
$36.00

Digital Equipment Corporation, in the beginning, made system modules. They started with Laboratory Modules in 1958, using discrete transistors on circuit boards in metal frames with Amphenol 22-pin connectors. In a couple of years, these became the DEC System Modules (also DEC Building Blocks), used for the Memory Test computer, and in the commercially successful PDP-1 and LINC computers. These modules predate the better-known, and long-lived Flip Chip ® modules.
This is an original DEC System Building Block module, type 4603, which is a Pulse Amplifier. It\'s in fine physical condition. It is clean, but shows slight evidence of wear and a few scratches on the frame. There are scuff marks on the connector pins from being inserted in a socket. It measures about 4½\" x 7\". This is a great display piece. It is untested.
I do not add \"packing\" or \"handling\" fees. I\'m happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases. If you have questions, please ask before offerding.
