To ensure quality, I had these boxes shipped with no SSD or RAM, so I procured and installed new quality components from reputable manufacturers. This includes quality power supplies as well, which will be from Lite-On or Delta.


This is perfect for use as a PFSense or OpnSense.  If you would like OpnSense please let me know when ordering.


This model has a very new 2.5Gb ethernet port, which is not supported out of the box by pfSense 2.6 CE. It is supported by 2.6 Plus and 2.7 Development.

pfSense 2.7 is very mature and will be the official release soon, so this device will come with PFSense 2.7 Development.


I am now an authorized reseller of Timetec hardware. I was very happy to find a quality hardware manufacturer willing to partner with a small business like myself. Timetec makes quality hardware (just look at their reviews elsewhere). They source their chips from the major OEM's (Samsung, Hynix, Micron, and SanDisk).

This model DOES NOT come with built-in Wi-Fi. You can add Wi-Fi if you would like, but will need to add all hardware. Most people will use a standalone AP with this device. I can give recommendations upon request.
