This is a used read/ write head used on the Pertec Model D3000, 20MB disk drives. The D3000 disk drives were the hard disk drives used on the MITS/Altair computers that were made in the early 1980\'s. Pertec Computer Corporationeventually purchased MITS/Altair which had designed and built the first \"Personal Computer\". It\'s a used disk drive head for memento or collectors item. Item being sold in \"as is\" condition as pictured. We have to charge sale tax to buyers in NJ and CA as we have offices in those states. Thanks for looking at our sale.
