RARE Vintage Cromemco System 400 mainframe Computer WORKING 1 of a kind:

This is a rare find. We used to use these in our Cromemco Software systems This one is fully tested and still operational. It comes with Cromemco's CROMIX Plus operating system, and an instruction manual. It has been run fully in 2017 for testing itself and various peripherals which are being sold or have been sold. Inside (see pics) it contains:140mb hard drive
5-1/4" Floppy drive
Cromemco boards and cables:
64FDC vers 3.12 (necessary to run an external 8" tape deck)
STDC vers 1.27
XPU Cpu board
XXM memory manager board
1024kz memory card
Cromix Plus operating system

Aswith all Vintage Equipment, there are no guarantees.You need to understand howto maintain and run them, and have skill to do so. This one is as is, itdoes power up, and completely works with the copy I have installed on my floppy disk Cromix boot.

Vintage computers and software require technical understanding and experienceto work with and operate. No warranties are implied other than disk is runningand manual is original. Shipping based on location. May be shipped to USstates and International which can accept Intn'l Shipping service IF WEIGHT IS NOT TOO MUCH. Will check with IPS for international direct shipping if not too heavy.


This device is HEAVY due to size and large power supply system, little over 100 lbs before packaging. Better if local pickup, but can be shipped by freight. Shipping costs will be calculated based on destination and shipping carrier once sale has been made. Could run as high as $150 to $250. Will only invoice for actual shipping / packaging costs + $25 handling .Mar 2018 - just found out Fed Ex can handle up to 150 #. Will include an calculator for this in case packed weight is in the range


If you wish to have shipping insurance (with Fed ex) it will be about $10 per 1000 insured (estimated) and will be added to the invoice if desired
