Up for sale is a Commodore 1541-II disk drive. It has been fully disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, and tested. It passes all tests I put it through: reading/writing disks, speed, and performance to name a few. Alignment also tested good and was not adjusted.


This is the Chinon mechanism, not the Newtronics/Mitsumi one that is known to fail.


Rubber feet on the bottom are still intact.


Comes with drive and serial cable, no PSU included


A disk will be inserted backwards in the drive in order to protect the heads.
