Produced by Remington Rand for the UNIVAC 1, introduced in 1951. -
Only 46 UNIVAC model 1 computers weremade. This unit is 23-1/2 inches longby 9 inches high by 2 inches wide. -
This rare nearly two-foot long logic circuit boardcontains 10 Octal base vacuum tubes, 4 smaller tubes and weighs about 6 pounds. -
The UNIVAC 1 contained over 5,000vacuum tubes, many of which were made by various different manufacturers. These tubes probably have differentmanufacture dates, have not checked them. Wiring looks intact (please see photos)
The board has the original “RemingtonRand” identification tag and serial number.
