I\'m listing this item \'for parts\' but I have no reason to think that anything is wrong with it.


It powers up, then makes that SGI chime, next then the status light turns green. The main fan and CPU fan both turn on. With that being said, there could be a bad component, but I\'m not sure since I don\'t have the 13w3 to VGA adapter to test.


I\'m not an expert with this device, but the following is what I could determine by looking at it...


It appears to have two video cards stacked on top of the motherboard. It\'s seems that many of these workstations only came with one card. In addition, something else that I thought was interesting is that, the CPU has a fan, not just heatsink like most models.

  • RAM slots are loaded but I\'m not sure what the rating is on each DIMM. There is a photo on the RAM if you want to try to figure it out (last photo).

There are some minor starches on the exterior. See photos. The case slides off somewhat easily, so it should probably have something on the metal loop in the back to keep it more secure.
