ABOUT: For your consideration is a Macintosh SE \"FDHD\" in \"working with caveats\" condition. This Mac has been tested to power on and chime, boot from the internal floppy, and function within an INCLUDED 800K System 6 diskette.
** This project Mac has light v-sync waviness, signaling a sooner-than-later need for a full re-cap of the CRT/analog board. Thus, this piece is being offered to something with an adventurous tinkering spirit who understands the future needs of this vintage computer.**
Please remember that, while I am a retro tech enthusiast, I am not an expert on the specifics of any given piece of retro technology. Some small components may be missing that I am not familiar with, so please ask any questions BEFORE offerding. This is a piece of 1980\'s technology that is incomplete, and offerding on it constitutes an interest to tinker with the understanding of potential unexpected hurdles common to retro tech such as capacitor replacement and floppy drive 1st revision Mac SE \"FDHD\" model
• 1x 800k floppy drive, tested working
• Original 20SC HD has been removed, SCSI and Molex cables still included
• 4x 256K RAM SIMMs installed, 1MB RAM
• 1st revision soldered VARTA clock battery motherboard, battery removed with NO acid leak
• Matching gray C13 power cable included
• Apple Keyboard II and Mouse II included with functional black S-Video cable in place of the original ADB & CONDITION, READ THIS SECTION: This SE is in overall good exterior shape with less-than-average yellowing to the case and no cracks or signs of abuse. The CRT also appears clean. As mentioned above, the CRT has a *very light* v-sync waviness, which is usually a warning that the caps on the CRT analog board are in need of replacement. THE TWO LOWER BLACK CASE SCREWS ARE MISSING.The installed motherboard does NOT have a battery and has no acid spillage.

While this should be a very straight forward project, working with a soldering iron and working around a CRT throwback require care and it is the buyer\'s responsibility to undertake this unit\'s restoration.
