ABOUT:For your consideration is another piece from my personal collection of retro gaming systems, a last-revision AT Socket 7 mini-tower, representative of the \"final form\" of AT desktops before the eventual move to ATX architecture. This unit has NO hard drive, but does have a 3.5\" floppy and a CD-RW (and a free IDE bus), and has been tested to POST and BOOT from a DOS floppy. This is a clean project ready for enthusiast restoration.
A fun historicalmemory for those who daily drove PCs of this era, the BIOS POST has a friendly reminder that this PC has been updated to protect against the nefarious TREND CHIPAWAY VIRUS! Phew!
Please remember that, while I am a retro tech enthusiast, I am not an expert on the specifics of any given piece of retro technology.
