I've decided to sell my beautiful Macintosh Color Classic desktop computer. Baby on the way and need to free up some funds/space! I've done so much work to this Mac, making it quick, reliable, and so much fun. Here's a brief summary:
  • Floppy drive recently serviced and tested
  • Logic board SMD capacitor replacement and cleaning
  • BlueSCSI added in place of original spinning drive (2GB SD card installed)
  • RAM upgraded to 10MB total using two 4MB SIMMs
  • Passes "Snooper 2" diagnostics - fully functional!
This machine is a real pleasure to use, and it's just so cute to look at. On the 2GB drive, I've installed System 7.1, along with many useful utilities and lots of classic games. Not to mention After Dark screensavers with flying toasters. See photos for examples of what software is preinstalled. If for some reason you'd rather have a spinning hard drive instead of the BlueSCSI, let me know and we can work something out. However - I do believe the BlueSCSI is the best option for this computer because of its reliability!
