Vintage Apple Macintosh Iici, 20MB RAM, cache, no HD, won\'t power on, for parts:
$100.00

Here is a Macintosh IIci, made in 1992, offered for parts or repair and sold AS IS.
This Mac probably has a bad power supply. When you power it on with a keyboard or the power button in back, you can hear a switching sound coming from the power supply while the green power led up front blinks briefly. The system does not give any chime or make any other sounds. It does not give a display.
I do not know if any of the other components work. I do not see or smell any signs of damage inside the system. The SCSI hard drive has been removed but the floppy drive is still present. Four 30-pin SIMM sockets are filled with 1MB SIMMs, and four others are each filled with 4MB SIMMs for a total of 20MB of RAM (upgradeable to 20MB).. There is an Apple 32KB cache card installed in its slot near the power supply but no NuBus cards.
I am happy to answer any questions about this system before your purchase. You will receive the exact hardware pictured here (but no monitor, keyboard, mouse, or cables).
Local pickup in zip code 60438 is free. Shipping charges are calculated by with no handling charge.
