Vintage Apple Macintosh Plus M0001A FOR PARTS/REPAIR, with 4MB RAM.
This is an original Macintosh 128K or 512K (not sure which) which was later upgraded to a Macintosh Plus with the Macintosh Plus Logic Board Kit.
It comes with 4MB of RAM on the logic board.
This Mac successfully started up recently, but then started to smoke, indicating that one of the components on the analog board has gone bad — likely a capacitor. Fuse and battery compartment were removed after this event, as you can see in the pictures.
The logic board, CRT, and analog board look great. They are clean and given the recent successful boot of the machine, the vast majority of the components are likely in good working condition.
